Student Clubs and Activities
St. Joseph School provides several opportunities to help students build positive relationships with one another while learning new skills in a safe, positive environment.
These are some of the opportunities available to students:
Academic Team (Grades 3-8)
Compete against other Kentucky schools in a fun and challenging environment.

Participate in various projects to prepare for future artistic endeavors.​

Cavaliers Care (Grades PK-8)
Volunteer with various organizations and build our community.

Chess Club (Grades 1-8)
Learn the game, fine tune skills and strategy, and compete against classmates.

Compassionate Cavaliers (Grades 6-8)
Plant seeds of positivity and spread kindness through the year.

Curtain Call Cavaliers (Grades 6-8)
Act, sing, dance, and work together to perform a play for the public.

Fishing Club (Grades 6-8)
Learn fishing techniques and enjoy the outdoors with peers.

French Club (Grades K-8)
Learn basic, conversational French in a laid-back environment.
​​Little Flower Girls’ Club (Grades K-8)
Explore the basics of the Catholic faith in a fun and friendship-filled environment.

Math Counts (Grades 6-8)
Build confidence, improve math and problem solving skills, and compete against others.
Mozart Strings (Grades 3-5)
Learn violin/viola/cello/bass in partnership with the Immanuel School of Music.

Robotics Club (Grades 2-8)
Build skills in STEM through teamwork, problem-solving, and creative design.
SJS Voices (Grades 5-8)
Lead the music at school Masses and strengthen your faith.​
Sports Card Club (Grades K-8)
Trade sports cards and participate in other fun activities.
STEAM Club (Grades 2-6)
Learn about engineering and coding in an engaging and creative environment.
Yearbook (Grades 6-8)
Assist in page layouts and designs using pictures taken throughout the year.
