Families at SJS
Over a Century of Faith is Built Upon Strong Support and Involvement of Our Parents.
Your engagement in SJS makes a real difference.
Parent involvement is a key to the success of St. Joseph School. There are many different opportunities in which parents, grandparents, and caretakers can play a significant part in their child’s development and at the same time provide essential assistance to our school.
Ways to Stay Connected & Involved
All volunteers are required to become and remain VIRTUS trained and certified in order to participate directly with our students. It is the responsibility of the volunteer to remain compliant in order to volunteer or participate directly with any child in any classroom setting/grounds.
PTO: Parent Teacher Organization
St. Joseph's PTO is an organization of parents striving to complement the needs of our students and teachers. We strive to enhance the education of our students by raising funds that are not provided for in the school budget, as well as to coordinate activities that enrich our campus.
Our cafeteria staff takes pride in providing healthy balanced meals and a safe, clean environment for our Cavaliers. An incredibly caring cafeteria staff, some of whom have been a part of the St. Joseph community since their children attended school here, go the extra mile to make sure that lunch is an enjoyable time for all students.
The Education Commission is a consultative body of the St. Joseph Parish and School focused on advancing the Catholic education mission. The Education Commission and its members foster a collaborative relationship between all individuals and committee related to this educational mission, and encourage a positive culture around education that encourages ideas and creativity.
